10/17/2011 Okay, for those that were curious, the server went down due to a DDoS attack, followed by Zeno changing the IP addy to get away from the attack. Zeno has apologized for the inconvenience, and so do I.
10/28/2011 2 things done: 1. updated cook process so that it updates the name of the item cooked from what it originally was, to roasted, to overcooked, to burnt in addition to it's original name. 2. fixed a minor bug that would allow cooked foods that reached overcooked status to never reach burnt status--it now will.
10/29/2011 Maim skill now works with all, and only, stab and pierce damaging weapons. Enjoy!
10/29/2011 You can now only behead corpses with hack or slash damage type weapons. Before, you could behead without a weapon.

11/15/2011 Another Dragon update. Breathe aoe activation is now based on adept percentage. Before, it had a 100% chance of success even at 1% adept. Bug fixed.
11/15/2011 Minor bug fix. Drink containers now reduce in amount of blood that is in them, no long an unlimited amount.
11/20/2011 Pluck updated to be able to start combat, instead of used only in combat.
11/20/2011 Corpse code updated, should be more steamlined/efficient now.
11/24/2011 I have been going through and updating racial resistances, susceptibilities and innate effects. When I'm done, I will be going over the changes with a few others to see if any of it needs tweaked one way or the other. Look forward to the additions! :)

12/09/2011 Lag issue some may have experienced was due to a repeated bug report during the update process. I have hopefully fixed this, while still maintaining the integrity of the bug report.
12/09/2011 I have reset the Worshippers data regarding Deities. I intend to make this data useful later, but wanted to have things equalize out again. Before, only players that "devote none" were removed from the Worshippers data. Now, those that also delete will be removed.
12/09/2011 A failed spell/skill due to it already being in effect upon yourself will now give an appropriate response as such! This should cover the majority of those spells/skills that did not give such an indication. If you still come across a spell/skill with this problem, please bug it as it's a separate piece of code to deal with.

01/04/2012 Updated the timing calculations for City Positions. This SHOULD fix the issue that was being observed for players unable to retain positions, and/or being passed up for promotions. Only the Duke and Baron have this feature attached to it.
01/04/2012 City Position Update: The Duke position now falls in line with the helpfile. The highest level citizen that has logged in within the last 7 days shall now be the Duke of the city.
01/09/2012 Map functionality should be fixed now with no more bleeding over of areas. Staff, please test this and try to find any problems if possible. I don't want to implement it until I'm sure it works as intended.

01/29/2012 More announcements added to the City Positions and streamlined the code a bit more. Might even have fixed that annoying intermittent crash. Guess we'll see.
01/31/2012 Possibly fixed a memory allocation error, which was causing some crashing. Guess we'll see.
02/03/2012 Updated the title command to add a default token at the end of whatever is used to remove all effects after the title. This should fix some of the color bleeding some may experience.

02/07/2012 Color customization in regard to magic colors should be fixed now. Before, when magic was changed from default (blue) to a different color, it would mess up any other response from the code that use AT_MAGIC as a color source--like item short descriptions, for some reason. Anyways, fixed now.
02/11/2012 Fixed a freak crash regarding the victim not being present on the mud for some reason during combat (they log off, purged or something like that).
02/13/2012 Threw some bug finding comments into the code to try and track down a bug. Follow the instructions of the message for reporting the bug.
02/16/2012 On Monday, 2/20/2012, 6 Dragons will be up and down throughout the day while attempting to track down the memory leak we're currently suffering from. I'm hoping to have it found and taken care of then, but I'm not overly optimistic. This will, however, get me started in the right direction to fixing the issue. More announcements to come concerning this undertaking as more information is available.
02/19/2012 Okay, found out why Human form was removed before, because it would occasionally cause the dragon to turn into a human priest, permanently. I'll look into this as soon some other things get fixed.

02/20/2012 Okay, so, after several hours, was able to clean up about half of the memory leaks we had (all to do with imc, which doesn't matter to any of you heh). The rest are not technically problems, with the exception of 1 that would take me a great deal more time to track down and fix. So, the huge lag we've been experiencing is directly related to another MUD on the server and not much I can do about it.

02/23/2012 Updated shield skill to not activate if the player is below 20 mana in an effort to fix a -mana bug.
02/26/2012 Note: In an attempt to fix things that make no sense, any skill that requires a musical instrument to be used in order to begin the spell/skill will be required through the duration of that spell/skill. As soon as the instrument is removed, so will the musical effects--this means you must continue to hold the instrument in order to reap the benefits. This is just a notice of what's coming, not that it has been implemented yet.

02/27/2012 Regarding the recent crashes, it has to do with the automapper feature and the ability to determine whether or not you can see a mob or player on the automap. The problem with fixing this is, noone is reporting the crash with what area/room they were in, so I cannot fix this until it gets reported. Please, if you are online when a crash happens, bug report, with as much information as you can so that it won't happen again. I can't fix what I don't know about.
03/01/2012 New area Dragon Knight Fortress added for levels 30 to 50 dragons or 50 to 80 other races. It is designed for dragons, but usable by all.
03/04/2012 Cone attack's damage is now dynamic. Significant damage increases are seen in 10-level increments, starting at level 11.
